On the weekend I...

We had our in laws up from Melbourne this weekend. We took them across the road to our fave market - The Wesley hill market and bought lots of goodies for lunch. It truly is special having a wonderful place like this to live and be able to show it off to visitors.

The rest of the weekend entailed a mixture of 'getting ready for the cold weather' jobs. The old dog got to wear her oilskin jacket agin which made her very happy - new dog will have to wait for a purchase of a winter jacket for him. I cleaned out the chicken pen and gave them new straw to keep warm and spent some of my time drinking tea and eating hot cross buns that hubby made...yummo!

In the next few weeks I am going to be concentrating on brightening up my home and the shop as the cold weather approaches and the sky turns grey. This also involves an influx of nice winter clothing in the shop - cute cardi's and skirts. There will also be some giveaways and a small sale on our 2nd hand items for this week only. Yay.
